Gifts for the Budding Baker

1. Marble Rolling Pin

A marble rolling pin is perfect for the baker who loves to make homemade pies! The cool and smooth surface of the marble makes it perfect for rolling out pie crusts and the like.

2. Vegetable/Cheese Shredder

A vegetable shredder is essential for those of us who love to bake or cook with shredded vegetables. Whether you are shredding zucchini for Zucchini Bread, or carrots for muffins.

A regular box grater is just so tedious and not to mention dangerous as I feel like I’m going to shred one of my fingers at the end of each vegetable.

If your loved one has a Kitchenaid then this Slicer Shredder Attachment for KitchenAid Stand Mixer would make the perfect gift. If not, then this FAVIA Handheld Rotary Slicer will do the trick.

3. Donut Pan

A donut pan is the perfect pan for your loved one to experiment with donuts! Donuts are such fun to bake. You can even make bagels in a donut pan.

4. Trifle Bowl

A trifle bowl is a beautiful bowl used to hold trifles. It is clear glass so it displays all the layers of a trifle. A cute gift idea is to fill the trifle bowl with a printout of a tasty recipe along with the dried goods used to make the recipe inside the trifle bowl. This Death by Chocolate Trifle recipe is a fantastic recipe and a crowd pleaser!

5. Kitchen Thermometer

A thermometer is an essential tool when it comes to cooking and baking. Whether you’re checking if your meat is fully cooked or your candy is at the right temperature. The Thermapen Mk4 Instant-Read Thermometer has amazing reviews. A little on the pricey side but it should last you forever and should be a great quality product as it is deemed the best in the world for its speed and accuracy. On the more frugal side is the ThermoPro TP18 Ultra Fast Digital Instant Read Meat Thermometer which also gives fast readings hence its name.

6. Silicone Baking Pan or Cups

I love my Silicone Baking Pan for making egg muffins because they pop right out of the pan. And these Silicone Baking Cups are a great reusable way to save money and paper for your cupcakes and muffins.

7. Mini Muffin Pan

Mini Muffin Pans are especially great for people with kids as they are the perfect size of the little kiddos. There are many things you can make in mini muffin pans from muffins to cupcakes, to specialty cookies and desserts!

8. Cookie Cutter Set

Most bakers love to make and decorate cookies and this Cookie Cutters Set from Wilton comes with 101 cookie cutters! There is a cookie cutter for every occasion!

9. Hand Mixer

A Hand Mixer is a great alternative or accompaniment to a stand mixer. If you do not want to invest in a stand mixer then just a simple hand mixer should do the job. Hand mixers are a lot smaller, portable, and lightweight. They are great for whipping mashed potatoes, whipped cream, frosting, and more.

10. Hand Held Blender

A Hand Blender is great for pureeing and blending up food. It is perfect for pureeing soups, fruit for jam, and blending up smoothies, milkshakes, and so much more. It is lightweight and portable too. You can just place it in the bowl you are already using and blend to your desired texture.

11. Revolving Cake Stand

This one is for the cake enthusiast. It’s a cake stand that rotates for ease of frosting. This set also comes with an offset spatula, which is used for frosting cakes. And, it also comes with a set of cake combs which is used to make pretty designs on top of the frosting.

12. Cake Decorating Set

Another fun gift for the baker who wants to decorate their own fun fancy cakes! This Wilton Decorating Set comes with 24 bags and a number of different piping tips.

13. Kitchen Food Scale

This is one of my most used items in my kitchen. When recipes call for exact measurements you will need a kitchen scale to be precise. And baking is all about precision.

14. Cookie Scoops

Cookie scoops are perfect for achieving consistent sizes in your cookies, and therefore even baking. Not to mention how easy and fast it is to scoop them onto your baking pan. Different sizes works great for creating balls of cookie dough, muffins, ice cream, fruit/melon, sorbet, meatballs, mashed potatoes and more.

15. Ninja Supra Kitchen System

I’ve had this set for a few years and still use it all the time. It is a high-powered blender, and food processor. And, it also comes with 2 smaller smoothie cups for on the go smoothies. You can see my full review on it here.

16. Ninja® Foodi™

On the more expensive side of gifts there is the Ninja Foodi. My husband just bought me one as an early Christmas gift and I have been loving it. It is like an all-in-one appliance. It’s a pressure cooker, air fryer, slowcooker, steamer, and it even dehydrates! And, of course, you can even bake in it, from giat cookies to fruit crisps, this appliance does it all!

I am currently working on recipes that can be cooked in a Ninja Foodi so be sure to subscribe to my emails to be among the first to know about new blog posts!
