- sea salt

And the taste combination of peanut butter and banana is delicious. What better reason to eat these Chewy Banana Oat Bars for a healthy snack.
Method
These bars are so simple to make.
Place 1 cup of oats, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 cup of peanut butter, 2 and 1/2 tablespoons of raw honey, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and 1 ripe banana into a medium bowl. Mix all ingredients together with a spoon.
Tidbit: Picking a natural unsalted peanut butter is your healthiest option.
Spread into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
Let cool completely before cutting into squares. Makes 9 servings. So good!
You won’t have a hard time getting your kids to eat these, and they are a better option than most processed packaged bars at the store. Enjoy 🙂
