This Lavender body scrub is good for your skin as it will exfoliate and soothe, and is relaxing used before bed. You can use this body scrub 1-4 times per week for beautiful skin.

Homemade Lavender Body Scrub Ingredients
- Granulated Sugar: While sugar might not be good for your diet, it can be very good for your skin. This is what helps to exfoliate your skin and remove dead skin cells, revealing softer, smoother skin.
- Coconut Oil: helps to moisturize dry skin, reduce inflammation, and it has antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.
- Lavender Essential Oil: can benefit the skin in numerous ways. It has the ability to lessen acne, help lighten skin, and reduce wrinkles. Furthermore, it has a beautiful relaxing scent that’s a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm.
- Purple Food Colouring: Optional to add a nice purple colour to the scrub.
What is Lavender Essential Oil?
Lavender oil(Lavandula angustifolia) is an essential oil derived from the lavender plant. It can be taken orally, topically (applied to the skin), and breathed in through aromatherapy. How to make a Lavender Body Scrub
In a medium bowl mix together the following ingredients:
1 and 1/2 cups granulated sugar
3/4 cups coconut oil, soft
10 drops Lavender Essential oil
5 drops purple food colouring(optional)
Mix until fully combined. Place in a sealed container or jar. To use simply rub a small amount onto the rough areas of your skin in the bath or shower, then rinse for beautifully soft, exfoliated, skin that smells amazing.
Tidbit: Turn this into a Lavender Lemon Body scrub by using 8 drops of Lavender and 5 drops of Lemon Essential Oil.
I love to use this homemade body scrub in the shower before bed to help me relax and wind down.

- ¾ cups coconut oil soft
- 10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
- 5 drops purple food colouring optional
Instructions

Mix all ingredients together in a medium bowl until fully combined. Transfer into a sealed container or jar.
