Blender Reviews

A few weeks ago, I visited my sister, and we made this really awesome smoothie using her Ninja Supra Kitchen System. I have to tell you how impressed I was with this machine.  I was so impressed that I decided to write a review on it, as well as include a couple of other great blenders that I have tried.

If you are looking for a blender, you want to ask yourself a few questions first:

  1. How often will I be using it?
  2. What will I be using it for?
  3. What is my budget?
  4. Do I want an all-in-one or just a plain blender?

I will be sharing my outlook on 3 great blenders that I have found are the best so far.

$ Oster 12-Speed Stainless Steel Blender– Economy Pick

$$ Ninja Supra Kitchen System – All in One

$$$ Vitamix – Top-notch, high-powered blender

$Oster 12-Speed Stainless Steel Blender

Oster blender.

 Features:

  • 450 watts of ice-crushing power
  • cord storage underneath the base
  • revolutionary ice crusher blade that won’t dull or bend

Pros:

  • long lasting
  • uses less storage space
  • economical

Cons:

  • less power than the Ninja and Vitamix
  • can be tedious to put the cord away every time

This is the blender for you if you want a simple blender that won’t take up too much space in your kitchen, is easy on the budget, and lasts a long time.

$$Ninja Supra Kitchen System

Ninja blender review.

Features:

  • 1200 watts of ice-crushing power
  • 8 cup food processor bowl
  • 2 (16oz) cups for drinks on the go

Pros:

  • crushes ice in seconds due to its high power
  • includes not only the blender pitcher but also a processor and 2 cups for an all-in-one system
  • comes with a chopping blade and a dough blade for the food processor

Cons:

  • The food processor does not come with a blade for shredding cheese
  • The blades are extremely sharp; therefore, extra precaution is needed when cleaning and handling them.
  • If you don’t have enough food or liquid in the blender or food processor, it can stick to the sides of the blender instead of continuously mixing.

This blender system is for those of you who want a high-powered blender and processor all in one convenient system. Comes for a decent price considering the value.

$$$Vitamix

Vitamix blender review.

 Features:

  • Three pre-programmed settings for automatic processing
  • Easy to use variable speed control and pulse feature.
  • 64-Ounce BPA-free container with spill-proof vented lid
  • Commercial-Grade 2-peak horsepower cool-running motor

Pros:

  • The cord is 6 feet long
  • Should last for a long time and comes with a 5-year warranty
  • At least a dozen tiny details go into the design of its aircraft-grade, hardened stainless steel blades.

Cons:

  • One of the most expensive blenders
  • Difficult to scrape all of the food out of the pitcher with a spatula

This blender is for those of you who will be using your blender a lot. It blends up the quickest because of its quality blade and high power.

Conclusion

We could all go for the Vitamix; however, we can’t all afford the price. That’s why sometimes a more practical choice is the Oster. Or perhaps you want a food processor and a blender, then what better choice than the all-in-one Ninja Supra Kitchen System?  Whichever you choose, I hope these reviews help you out to make an informed decision on what suits you best 🙂
