As December comes to a close and we are all recovering from the holiday season, I’m rounding up all my favourite things from this past Fall. This season’s favourites are full of my fave snacks, beauty picks, and so much more! Let’s dive in!

Hu Kitchen Gems Snacking and Baking Dark Chocolate
I placed an order from Naturamarket at the end of summer and got a bunch of healthy goodies. All the food on this roundup is from my order. These Hu baking Gems are delicious. I prefer the unsalted as I found the salted a little too salty. I love to use these in my Peanut Butter Mug Cake, which I sometimes make for an evening snack!
Purely Elizabeth Gluten-free Ancient Grain Granola Vanilla Chocolate Chip
This is my first time trying this brand and it was quite good! I used to make homemade granola but it just wasn’t hitting the spot anymore, but many granola brands from my local grocery stores are full of sugar and bad ingredients. This brand tastes delicious and uses good ingredients.
ALOHA Organic Plant-based Protein Bars
These were my favourites from the whole order. I had never tried them before but grabbed 4 flavours hoping they were good and they were even better than I expected. My new favourite bars, but are quite pricey and I can’t find them anywhere else so I just splurge once a year on a few of these. They taste like chocolate bars and are soo good! The flavours I got were Caramel Pecan, Chocolate Fudge brownie, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, and Peanut butter chocolate chip.
Unreal Dark Chocolate Crispy Quinoa Gems
A great healthier alternative to M&M’s. I was a little hesitant at first because of the quinoa in them but they are good and give them a little crunch. Naturally coloured using vegetables and with no artificial ingredients or flavouring, this is the healthy chocolate you’ve been looking for.
Amika Un.Done Volume and Matte Texture Spray
I was looking for a texture spray that was low on harsh chemicals and I found this one on Think Dirty only with a rating of 3. A lightweight, dry finishing spray that creates instant volume + texture. It takes my curls to limp to textured and voluminous. When I’m done curling my hair I always spray this after.
Beauty from Bee’s Magnesium Oil Spray
I’ve been using this for a while now and spray it on my feet every night before bed. I find it doesn’t help me fall asleep but helps me stay asleep and have a more sound sleep once I’m sleeping. This is a really good local clean brand that I definitely recommend!
Mary Ruth’s Vitamin C and Ionic Zinc Liquid Drops
My kids and I take these whenever we feel sick or need an immunity boost. It’s so easy to use the liquid drops because I just mix it into a little orange juice and the kids never complain about the taste. They actually ask about it in the morning.
Restored 316 WordPress Themes
This site has a lot of different affordable and customizable feminine wordpress themes. I recently updated my website to the new Rosemary theme. I love how my new website turned out. It made it easy for me to install and customize the theme to my liking and I have no techy knowledge whatsoever. You can see the makeover before and after of my site here from my Instagram reel.
2020 Chevrolet Equinox
So we recently purchased a new vehicle, on our anniversary actually. We found this one at our local dealership and love it! The only downside is it is a bit smaller- only 5 seats so we can’t bring anyone else along for the ride but for the budget, this car fits the bill. It has heated seats, keyless ignition, command start and more!
Guitar
So I’ve recently started learning guitar! I tried learning when I was around 11 years old but I decided to quit, unfortunately. But, I’ve felt the pull to start learning guitar again for the past few years and my husband picked one up for me from our local music store for a good deal. I’ve been trying to practice for at least 10 minutes a day, but it is a challenge (not to mention hurts the fingers!), but it’s been fun. I’m not giving up this time!
