Fall Favourites 2020
This edition of Favourites looks a little bit different as I am not only sharing a few of my new favourite things from Fall but also noting some of my favourites from the past year that I am still loving to this day. Read on for all my new and most loved must haves!
Fall Favourites
Ninja Foodi
The Ninja Foodi has quickly become one of my favourite kitchen appliances. This do it all appliance can pressure cook, air fry, steam, slow cook, and sear/saute! I have been making new recipes just for the Ninja Foodi I love it so much. You must try this Mexican Casserole recipe and this Lentil Stew recipe as they are both cooked by the Ninja Foodi.
Chunky Block Heel Snakeskin Booties
These were a little bit out of my comfort zone but I totally love them. Because of the chunky heel they are comfy to wear, yet super stylish. And, I didn’t feel guilty about purchasing them because they were only $10 (US) from Shoe Dazzle!
Hudson’s Bay Premium Weight Luxe Fur Throw
I purchased this throw at a charitable auction and I am so glad I did! Not only did I feel good about the purchase but the throw is luxuriously soft and beautiful! I’m actually using it as a tree skirt right now because it goes well with the decor but I can’t wait to snuggle up underneath again after Christmas and into the new year. I can just see it now, snuggled up on the couch, drinking my morning coffee and reading my bible on a cold winters day 🙂
Past Favourites
Beach Body on Demand
I started 80 day Obsession in January and finished the whole program with out missing any workout days. I loved the workouts and from then on I’ve been trying new Beach Body programs. So far I have finished 80 Day Obsession, 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Real Time, Barre Blend, and Lift 4. I will be starting Morning Meltdown 100 on January 4th. Comment below if you want to join me in committing yourself to 100 workouts in the New Year!
Healthy Banana Bread
The recipe I baked the most often this year has been my Healthy Banana Bread recipe. It’s the perfect snack and/or breakfast. Great eaten on its own or with butter, peanut butter, or even cream cheese.
Fabletic Sneakers
I just purchased another pair of sneaker this past Fall because I loved the first pair so much. I first mentioned these shoes in my May Favourites and they are making another appearance. I like to wear sneakers indoors when I work out but also just around the house because my feet get sore so easily. However, I needed a pair just to wear outside for walks with the kids in the Summer, which meant I needed to purchase another pair just to wear inside the house. Proper, supportive foot wear is so important if you are walking around a lot like I am. I have the Zuma Studio Sneakers from Fabletics and they are so comfy and stylish.
But to be honest, I decided to purchase a different pair the second time which was the Echo Performance Sneaker, and I was not impressed. The material was thin and hard, and they were just not comfortable at all. They were also not as pretty looking either, so I exchanged them for another pair of the Zuma sneakers I knew I already loved. So I have a purple pair and a grey pair now.
Adidas Sneakers
I guess this is the shoe edition of my Favourites because I also want to once again mention these Adidas Sneakers. Though not a sneaker I would run or workout in, they are perfect for going out running errands and for casual get togethers with family and friends.
Canon EOS Rebel T6 Digital SLR Camera
Next, on my list of faves is my Canon Rebel T6 DSLR camera. It is one of my favourite item on this whole list. I just love my camera. I use my camera for my food photography for the blog and it has been a game changer. I used to only use my iPhone for photos and you can take really good photos with an iPhone, however a DSLR camera is the way to go if you are really serious about photography.
Our New Home
And, finally, I had to mention living in our new home once again because I honestly feel so blessed to be living here. I still feel it is the perfect home for us and I love living here. I haven’t done much indoor decor, only my kitchen is finished. The kitchen is one of my favourite rooms in the whole house because it has alot of space and a big island and pantry. It is perfect for all the baking and cooking I do. Next up will be the kids bedrooms.
I hope you enjoyed reading my Fall Favourites from 2020. What has been some of your favourite things this past year?
