Spring Favourites 2022
I can’t believe 2022 is nearly half over! I have a list of new things I have tried over the last few months and I am here to share them with you! From homeschooling, recipes, clothes, makeup, skincare, and more! Let’s dive into my Spring favourites 2022 edition!
Spring Favourites 2022
Treehouse Schoolhouse Nature Study: Summer
This is a homeschool curriculum for the Summer! I bought the digital download where I could print out all the pages at home. It is a seasonal nature study curriculum designed with family-style learning in mind. It is a gentle guide meant to invite various ages to connect with each other and the world around them through living books, nature notebooking, hands-on projects, and beauty subjects such as poetry, picture study, and folk songs. It is great because it is appropriate for preschoolers all the way to middle schoolers. You just adjust according to their age. There are so many awesome things to learn in nature and a fun way to keep up our learning in the Summer time. We are only in week 1 so far but I am looking forward to all the fun learning planned ahead in the curriculum.
We also tried their Expectant Easter Curriculum back in April for Easter, and that is a shorter 3-week curriculum perfect for teaching kids the importance of Easter and the events that happened around Jesus Christ.
No-Bake Cheesecake with Pie Filling
I just posted this new recipe on the blog last week, and it is sooo delicious! The recipe features a graham crumb crust, a tangy lemon cheesecake filling, and your favourite pie filling on top. Makes a large 9×13 inch pan to feed a crowd…but it will still be gone in seconds! Make this the next time you need a dessert!
Altar’d State “One Happy Mama” Tee
This tee is extremely cute, soft, and comfy! It comes oversized so downsize if you want it more fitted. I like to wear mine with denim or shorts for the Summer. Unfortunately, I bought one on sale and I don’t think they are available anymore, but check out the site for tons of other cute clothing and accessories!
Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation
I have been hearing rave reviews about this skin tint, and I have been needing something with SPF for the Summer so when I went to Sephora last week I just had to pick it up. It melts into the skin and has beautiful light coverage. It is cool because it goes on like a serum and has good for your skin ingredients such as Hyaluronic Acid.
Dime Beauty
I started a new skincare routine with Dime Beauty The Works skincare bundle. It is clean, vegan, cruelty-free skincare. The Works comes with their cleanser, toner, two serums, a day cream, and night cream. It is a luxurious line yet still affordable. All of their products are fantastic in quality and are formulated with clean ingredients which promote healthy skin. I see an improvement in my skin after one month and am starting to feel good in my skin again.
However, skincare is only one part of having a clear complexion. I have also started the Acne Protocol just recently which I think is also helping with my acne. I need to trial the Acne Protocol for at least 3-6 months though to see if I can achieve a clear complexion. I think the suggestions and recommendations have been great so far. It is hard to include all the diet recommendations for me though so I am slowly transitioning my diet. A work in progress!
Mid-Day Squares
I just tried the Fudge Yah flavour the other day from Walmart, but it was really good! It contains clean ingredients and just like any other bar, they are great for on the go. They are dairy and gluten free too!
Built Bar Salted Caramel
Another bar that has become one of my faves is the Built Bar Salted Caramel. This is one of the best-tasting protein bars I have tried. The Salted Caramel flavour has a delicious caramel, with just a dash of salt. And it’s all covered in 100% real dark chocolate. The only other flavour I have tried was the Caramel Almond Delight, but I was not a fan of this flavour and wouldn’t purchase it again.
They have tons of other flavours and are always coming out with new limited edition ones. They also have their Built Bar Puffs too so be sure to check them all out! Let me know if you’ve tried them and what’s your favourite flavour, and if not let me know which one you want to try the most!

Young Living Savvy Minerals Anchors Away Lipgloss
This is a sheer- to medium-coverage gloss that adds moisture, color, and shine with a hint of Peppermint premium essential oil. The peppermint adds an amazing smell to it! I really love the colour “Anchors Away” but unfortunately it is no longer available at this time. They do have the colour “Abundant” however which looks like a really pretty shade as well. This lip gloss formula is not tested on animals and is made with naturally derived ingredients, so you can feel good about what you are putting on your lips. It’s also formulated without parabens, phthalates, petrochemicals, bismuth, talc, synthetic fragrances, or synthetic colorants.
