Spring Favourites 2024
I took another big lapse on the blog and for that I’m sorry, but sometimes life just gets in the way! However, I’m not sorry for putting my family first, and there are only so many hours in a day so here we are. But, here I am back again starting with some of my favourite things.
Half of the year is almost over and June is one of my fave months of the year- it’s my birthday month and the start of Summer! I have to say though it has not been the prettiest Spring here in the Canadian prairies. It’s either rainy or windy most of the time. I can’t wait for a warm Summer to arrive. But without further ado, it’s time to share all my favourites from Spring of 2024. So let’s take a peek at what I am currently loving.
Spring Favourites 2024
Starbucks Iced Lavender Cream Oat Matcha Tea Latte
Smooth and creamy matcha made with oat milk and topped with sweet and subtle floral notes of lavender cream cold foam. This unexpected combo tastes like Springtime in a cup.
Gimme Brow + Tinted Volumizing Eyebrow Gel
I have to admit this is the first ever brow product I’ve had. This is a brow-volumizing tinted gel with tiny microfibers that create natural-looking fullness and definition. I wanted to make my eyebrows stand out and look more groomed; this was the perfect product. I cut my hair to my collarbones earlier in the Spring and felt like a strong brow would complete the look. The mascara wand applicator makes it super easy for amateurs like me to apply it.
PC Organic Cold Brew
Something I just tried is this Organic Cold Brew from President’s Choice. I’ve been hooked ever since. I drink it every afternoon with oat or almond milk and a splash of maple syrup over ice. So good, this will be on repeat all Summer for sure!
Ikea Water Pitcher
This water pitcher looks simple yet elegant. It is made with tempered glass so good for both hot and cold, and has a cork lid stopper. Very easy on the pocketbook as well. I like to use mine for herbal water.
Justin’s Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
I’m a big fan of peanut butter cups but these are next-level delicious. They are like your favourite peanut butter cups but organic and without all the junk in them. These are made with dark chocolate(my fave) and taste very good quality.
Simple Chocolate Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting
Speaking of peanut butter and chocolate…this sheet cake is superb! Made with a moist chocolate cake and topped with a rich, sweet peanut butter frosting. Easy to make too! This would make a great birthday cake!
