Welcome to my first appetizer recipe on the blog! I have recipes for about every other food category, I figured it was time I added an appetizer. This savoury cheese ball is super easy to make and is perfect for a summer bbq or party.
Why You’ll Love This Recipe
- Uses only 6 ingredients
- Savoury cheesy flavour. Packed with cream cheese, cheddar, and chives, with a little added kick of Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce.
- Super easy to make! Simply mix all ingredients together, form into a ball, and allow to set in the refrigerator for a few hours. You can easily make this the day before as well.
For this recipe you will need:
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/4 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup chopped onion or chives ( I used a little of both)
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 drop of Tabasco sauce
- 3 cups grated cheddar cheese
You can use any brand of cream cheese, however, I prefer Philadelphia over no-name brands and is worth the extra money in my opinion.
Instructions
Simply mix all ingredients together and form into a ball. Refrigerate until set, about 3 hours. Serve with crackers, pretzels, veggies or chips of choice.
Trust me, this is the best cheese ball recipe…you’ve got to make it for yourself and find out!
