You are going to love these Slow Cooker Barbecue Pork Ribs because they are so tender and full of delicious bbq flavour. Slow-cooked first to ensure a juicy tender meat, then broiled with barbecue sauce to make a sticky glaze… you’ll be licking your fingers it is so good!

To ensure that the pork ribs are as tender as possible, the recipe starts out by slow cooking the ribs for about 8 hours on low in a mixture of ingredients to give it big flavour. Slowly cooking breaks down the connective tissue and fat, creating deliciously soft and juicy meat. Then the ribs are transferred to the oven slathered with bbq sauce to finish off.

These are honestly the best pork ribs I have ever had…yes better than at the restaurants. You have to try this slow cooker ribs recipe!

Slow Cooker Barbecue Pork Ribs

Mix 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, 3 tablespoons liquid smoke, and 2 cloves of minced garlic together in a small bowl and rub all over your pork ribs.

Layer ribs along with 1 sliced medium onion in your slow cooker. Pour 1/2 cup of coca-cola over everything.

Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.

When cooking is finished, take the ribs out of the slow cooker and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread a generous amount of barbecue sauce on top of the ribs and place under broiler for 5 minutes until glazed.
