Slow Cooker Barbecue Pork Ribs

Ingredients

  • 3 ½ lbs pork ribs
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 3 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup coca-cola
  • 1 ½ cups barbecue sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 3 tablespoons liquid smoke, and 2 cloves of minced garlic together in a small bowl and rub all over your pork ribs. 

  2. Layer ribs along with 1 sliced medium onion in your slow cooker. Pour ½ cup of coca-cola over everything. 

  3. Cover and cook on low for 8-9 hours.

  4. When cooking is finished, take the ribs out of the slow cooker and place them on a foil-lined baking sheet. Spread a generous amount of barbecue sauce on top of the ribs and place under broiler for 5 minutes until glazed.
