Why You’ll Love These Smash Burger Tortilla Wraps:
- Quick to make – ready in under 20 minutes
- Crispy & cheesy – golden tortilla and melty cheese in every bite
- Customizable – add your favourite toppings
- Kid-friendly – easy to hold and fun to eat!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- Ground Beef: to make the burger patties.
- Salt & Pepper: Season the beef.
- Garlic & Onion powder: flavour the beef patties.
- Flour Tortillas: 6-inch flour tortillas are best suited for making the wraps.
- Cheddar Slices: cheesy goodness.
- Toppings of choice: shredded lettuce, chopped white onion, sliced pickles, tomatoes, white sesame seeds, etc.
- Burger Sauce: Add a drizzle of burger sauce all over. Use store-bought or your favourite homemade recipe.

🔥 How to Make Smash Burger Tortilla Wraps:
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Mix up the ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder. Divide the beef into 6 even-sized balls.
- Place a small ball of beef directly onto a tortilla. Use parchment paper and a heavy spatula or pan to smash it flat into the tortilla. Alternatively, you can place the ball of beef directly in the skillet and place a tortilla on top and press down. Make sure that the beef patty is very thin and covers most of the tortilla, or it will take too long to cook through.
- Carefully place the tortilla (beef-side down) onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned and crispy.
- Flip the wrap, reduce the heat to medium, and top the beef side with a slice of cheese.
- Let the tortilla toast and the cheese melt for 1–2 more minutes.
- Remove from heat and add your favourite burger toppings: sauce, lettuce, pickles, onions—whatever you love!
- Fold it up like a taco or roll it burrito-style. Serve hot!
Best enjoyed right away, but leftovers can be reheated in a pan or air fryer for a crisp finish.

🍔 Tips & Variations:
- Use lean ground beef to avoid excess grease.
- Flatten the patties so they are very thin and cover most of the tortilla, or it will take too long to cook.
- For extra flavour, mix some mustard into the beef before smashing.
- Make it spicy with jalapeños or hot sauce.
