Smooth, creamy, and has a nice light peanut butter flavour! The perfect frosting for chocolate cakes, banana cakes, cupcakes, and even brownies.
Beat 1 cup of unsalted butter on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in 1 cup of creamy peanut butter, 1/2 cup of icing sugar, 2 and 1/2 tablespoons of milk, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/8 teaspoon of salt.
Gradually beat in remaining 3 and 1/2 cups of icing sugar, beating well after each addition until smooth. Frost your confection as desired.
Frosting will keep in the refrigerator up to 1 week, or in the freezer up to 3 months. To defrost thaw in the refrigerator overnight then beat on medium speed to make it creamy and fluffy again.
