Ingredients

  • cup steel cut oats
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ tsp cinnamon ground
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Simply place 2/3 cups of steel cut oats, 1 cup of milk, 1 cup of water, 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup, and a pinch of salt to your pressure cooker. Stir.

  2. Place the pressure cooker lid on top with valve set to seal. Pressure cook on HI for 3 minutes. After cooking let it naturally release(takes about 20 minutes). Lift lid and give another stir. Portion into two serving bowls.

  3. Feel free to add an extra drizzle of maple syrup to the top of the oatmeal. Also, fruit is an excellent addition to oatmeal. Bananas, blueberries, and apples are all delicious add-ons to oatmeal. Enjoy!
